About the designer
Chandrika Rachoori is a visionary Indian designer in the realm of luxury couture. An alumna of NIFT Chennai (2008–2012), she developed a profound command over design, textiles, and surface ornamentation, grounding her aesthetic in both technical rigor and artistic sensitivity. In 2013, she co-founded RAAMZ, a premium menswear couture house specializing in wedding and ceremonial attire. As Creative Director, she shaped the brand’s signature aesthetic, refined its market positioning, and architected its sustained growth trajectory. In 2021, the label evolved into CHANDRIKA RAAMZ — a sophisticated expansion reflecting a more defined creative authorship and strategic clarity.
In 2025, she earned her MBA from ISB Hyderabad, augmenting her creative leadership with global business strategy, innovation frameworks, and organizational insight. After more than a decade of building and scaling a distinguished couture enterprise, she embarked on an independent chapter to pursue a more personal and elevated creative narrative.
